High Dynamic Range Photography

I’m still trying to get comfortable with shooting HDR (High Dynamic Range) Shots.  The two Pictures below were taken with 5 exposures about 1 stop apart then layered.  These are two old buildings at a park across the street from my house.

Testing out Nikons new sensor and its amazing High ISO capabilities this shot was taken handheld at ISO 2000 with a 50mm prime wide open at F1.4

I attended a photo class years ago and the instructor said that if you try hard enough you can make a pile of trash look good.  So here is my attempt - just a train car full of what looks like shredded Ford parts.  With a little Photoshop fun to top it off.
